FARMYARD & STORAGE KAMP
In 1856, the estate was built by Mr Arnold Heinrich Kamp, a child of Heuerling from Brockhagen. Kamp, who also was municipal administrator of Oesterweg, made it from humble circumstances to the solid farming population and being the provincial deputy, he also received a great social reputation. In the farmyard one finds, amongst other things, a ‘Räucherturm’ (smoke tower) which is a listed building today.
